Clemar Engenharia played a leading role in the ASHRAE South Brazil Chapter's Annual Report 24/25, an event that culminated in the Induction Cocktail for the new 25/26 management. Held in July at ASBRAV's modern headquarters in Porto Alegre/RS, the meeting brought together industry leaders and experts, reinforcing the importance of collaboration for the future of HVAC engineering.

Our company was proudly represented by Engineer James Mattos, Clemar's Air Conditioning Project Manager, who is also an active ASHRAE member and ASBRAV Regional Director for Santa Catarina. At his side was André Scharf, Clemar's Climatization Implementation and After-Sales Coordinator and an ASHRAE member. The presence and engagement of these professionals underlines Clemar's commitment to technical progress and best practices in the market.
The event not only celebrated the inauguration of the new board of directors, led by president-elect Fernando Castillo, but also highlighted the significant progress made under the management of Gabriel Berlatto. Among the most important points was the revival of the value of face-to-face meetings, which have proved essential for strengthening links and broadening sector integration, with successful events in various cities such as Curitiba, Florianópolis, Porto Alegre and Balneário Camboriú.
The work of the local chapter has gone from strength to strength with sustainability projects of great social impact. Notable examples include the improvement of ventilation in catechism rooms in Itajaí and the analysis of air quality in 41 schools in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, initiatives that relied on volunteers and the crucial support of CREA. Dedication to professional development was also evident, with the promotion of nine technical events during the period. The 3rd Building Decarbonization Seminar was a milestone of excellence and organization, consolidating ASHRAE as a hub of knowledge and innovation.
These moments reinforce the importance of engaging with associations such as ASHRAE, which unite professionals around a greater purpose and prepare the sector for future challenges. With more than 30 years' experience in the field, Clemar reiterates that associative interaction is essential if we are to continue to evolve and build a solid path towards new achievements.
We wish the new 2025/26 administration every success!
