When it comes to public security, response time and system stability are not just IT metrics -they are factors that save lives. Focused on making a leap in operational efficiency, the State of Santa Catarina is modernizing its video monitoring infrastructure, and Clemar Engenharia is the chosen technological partner to make this evolution a reality.

This Wednesday, May 6th, we had the honor of welcoming the top management of the Santa Catarina State Secretariat of Public Security (SSP-SC) to our factory. The delegation, formed by the Secretary of State, Colonel Flávio Rogério Pereira Graff; the Deputy Secretary, Colonel Sinval Santos da Silveira Junior; the Director of Technology and Innovation, Cleber Angelo Capellari; and the Infrastructure Manager, Julio Luan Serafim Tarter, was received by our director, Eng. Luiz Fernando Lemos, and the commercial supervisor, Franco Roberto.

The purpose of the visit was the technical follow-up and commissioning of the first of nine Modular Data Centers planned in the project (Process SGPe No. SSP/2025). This delivery marks the beginning of a new era for police intelligence in the state.

The great technological differential of this new solution is the adoption of a decentralized architecture. Unlike traditional models that send the entire weight of data to a single location, the infrastructure designed by Clemar processes information in a more distributed way. The gains from this technical choice are immediate and significant, such as traffic reduction, which causes a drastic decrease in the bottleneck in the state's corporate network, greater speed in responding to events monitored by security forces, and less dependence on ultra-high bandwidth connections for continuous image transmission.

In addition to immediate robustness, the project stands out for its financial and strategic intelligence. The newly developed architecture allows full integration with SSP-SC's existing technological park, ensuring that legacy equipment and cameras continue to operate in tune with the new infrastructure. It is an economic, flexible, and fully scalable solution. If the State needs to expand the monitoring network in the coming years, the infrastructure is already prepared to absorb this demand without the need for complex structural reformulations!

For Clemar Engenharia, being part of this project means reaffirming our commitment to digital transformation. Delivering cutting-edge critical infrastructure for the security of Santa Catarina is, above all, an investment in the well-being and protection of the whole society.
