The Omnisys Engenharia and Clemar Engineering consortium has completed the installation of a new radar station in Bom Jesus da Lapa, Bahia, as part of a contract with the Airspace Control System Implementation Commission (CISCEA). Equipped with the RSM970S-NG radar, which already operates in Petrolina, this new system represents an advance in the modernization of the Brazilian Airspace Control System (SISCEAB) and expands the national base of secondary radars to a total of 70 units. Major General Alexandre Javoski highlighted the importance of the installation for air traffic safety and the economic development of the region, which is vital for tourism and agriculture. Manufactured in Brazil, the RSM970S-NG provides essential data for identifying and monitoring aircraft, ensuring more efficient and safer air management.
