Security
Its access cover is protected with safe-type locks and an encapsulated and/or Bluetooth padlock. Access is via a small compartment built into the lid, protected with an encapsulated padlock and/or Bluetooth, which gives access to the release handle for the safe-type locks.
Labeling
As it is an underground solution, all the rack, power and radio equipment is located below ground level. Only an access cover embedded in the ground becomes apparent. This could be a sidewalk, the central median of an avenue, between a garden, etc., along with ventilation towers that can also be camouflaged with garbage cans or other street furniture. The antenna support pole can also be camouflaged with lamps, flag holders, etc.
Watertightness
All the units manufactured undergo a watertightness test, according to ABNT NBR IEC 60529:2017, and leave the factory with an IPX8S rating, under the criterion of total immersion for 5 hours, with 1mca above the top cover. It has a number of features such as latches that tighten the rubber closing profile of the lid, Roxtec modules for cable routing, and internal pumps for drainage in case of emergency.
Resistance
The box with its casing and lid is made from material that is resistant to impacts and mechanical stress caused by external agents such as vehicles and water. Even if a truck were to drive over the lid, it would not be damaged for up to 1,600kg/m² over the lid. The box is also resistant to hydrostatic water pressure, up to 3,500 kg/m².
Convenience
Quick and uncomplicated assembly. Easy access to equipment and operation. The elevator version has an on-board elevator that raises the equipment to ground level. In the non-lift version, access to the equipment is comfortable and suitable for working (standing, with lighting, constant air renewal, etc.). What's more, although the lid is heavy, it doesn't require any effort to open, as it has light opening mechanisms.

SCALABILITY
High storage capacity
Space for up to 15 RRUs depending on the model, up to 30 Us in a 19” rack for installing equipment, and up to 10x 100Ah 48V lithium batteries. The equipment spaces are sized to cater for full capacities such as 3 sectors and 5 frequencies, and we also have underground solutions for low capacities, with more compact boxes with only rack space and power available, aimed at SLS or fiber optic solutions, such as DWDM.
MULTI-USER
Possibility of sharing
The CelBox underground shelter can be installed in multiple boxes, designed to serve more than one operator, using the same civil infrastructure. Each compartment has its own separate subsystems, independent of the other operators, such as access, power input, electrical panel and ventilation system.
